Follow this chapter to make sure your WebOffice 10.9 projects are ready for the WebOffice core client.
1. Check the tools of your WebOffice 10.9 project and make sure they are already released for WebOffice core client
See chapter WebOffice core Client for the list of features that have not been migrated to WebOffice core client yet. If none of the tools your project is using are on this list you can migrate your WebOffice 10.9 project from WebOffice html to WebOffice core client.
2. Configure meaningful ribbons to enhance your WebOffice 10.9 projects
When first opening the WebOffice html optimized project in the WebOffice core client, you will see that all tools are listed within one default ribbon called REMAINING TOOLS.

In order to make best use of the WebOffice core client, configure Ribbons, Tool Groups and Quicktools.

Note: It is possible to use predefined ribbon sets via context menu and adapt them to your needs.

4. Change the standard client to be opened when starting the WebOffice 10.9 project
Configure WebOffice core client to be the standard desktop client
When opening your WebOffice 10.9 project with the parameter &client=auto, WebOffice 10.9 will open the client according to the device that is used to run WebOffice 10.9. In order to open the project with WebOffice core by default when accessing WebOffice 10.9 from a desktop browser, change the parameter Default Desktop Client to core.
