Geocortex Self Signed Certificate expired after 10 years

Overview

Geocortex self-signed certificate and the certificate store expired after 10 years and resulting to this error when attempting to sign in:

Solution

Generate a new certificate by following all of the steps below:

1. Delete the expired signing certificate from Windows Certificate Store (certlm.msc).
2. Run the command line (CMD) on the Essentials Server as an administrator
3. In the command line, navigate to the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Identity Server\Web\bin
4. Run Geocortex.IdentityServer.Setup.exe SigningCertificateName=null  - confirming SigningCertificateName is empty.
5. Run Essentials Post Installation and once the console is up, keep pressing next button until end and click "Finish" and accept the Post Install Summary
