SEW net tracking breaks off on entry

Problem

A mesh trace aborts at the inlet, even though the inlet is snapped to the posture and the inlet appears in the posture's attribute mask under "Building Parts".

Cause

There is no vertex / support point on the attitude where the inlet is located. The vertex is not set even if the existing inlet is dragged from the stance and resnapped to the stance.

Solution

Apart from resnapping, the following solution exists:

Put the stance into edit mode using the Edit Geometry tool.

Manually place the vertex on the posture at the inlet.

Make sure that under GEONIS Main Menu > Tools > Settings SW Module > Move Nodes > "Move nodes: drag meshed objects" is checked AND that at least the subtype 10 (= inlet) is entered.

Set the inlet to edit mode using the "Edit Geometry" tool, and snapping the inlet to the vertex just captured.
