Connection cannot be created when the node to be created is a basin or a pumping station

Question

Why is the connection not created when the node to be created is a basin or a pumping station?

Problem

When the pipe section is to be connected to a standard shaft, it works as usual. However, if the node is a basin or a pumping station, the connection is not created → the corresponding fields ("bisbauwerk_ref", "bistopolin_ref", "vonbauwerk_ref" or "vontopolin_ref") remain empty.

Solution

  1. Load your SEW project in GEONIS.
  2. In the GEONIS main menu, click on the "Tools" tab.
  3. Now click on "Settings SW Module...".
  4. You should now see a window displaying various numerical subtype codes in the middle (e.g., 1;2;3;4;6;7;8;9;10;11;12;13;14;1001).
  5. Go to the question mark to the right of the subtype codes. 
  6. Code 13 stands for "pumping station" and code 14 for "basin". Therefore, make sure that these codes are listed in the input line.
