We're happy to let you know that the latest version of Networks Locator (EU) is now available. Take a look at the new features and enjoy the improvements in this release.
Here’s what’s new:
Orderbook
- Added a new
user_rolecolumn to keep track of the role the user was using when making the request. - Added a new
affected_groupscolumn to show which intersection groups were impacted by the locate request. - Long titles in the table are now automatically truncated to fit the available width, helping to prevent line breaks. You can still view the full title as a tooltip and in the detail view.
- Enhanced the protocol view to present all features intersecting with a locate request across all configured intersection layers.
Network Locator Client
- A new info message lets users know when their device doesn’t support the necessary WebGL2 hardware features.
- Improved caching strategy to ensure that a new version of the Networks Locator client is immediately recognized and downloaded by the client’s browser to avoid caching issues
- Fixed reload behavior issues in Firefox for Locator Client and Cockpit.
DXF-Export
- Updated the integrated DXF Export Service to version 1.4.
- Log file generation for the export process is now turned off by default, but you can enable it if you need to debug.
- The DXF exporter now includes support for definition expressions from the WebMap
Deployment improvements
The solution package that was deployed during the initial Helm installation can now be automatically upgraded in later releases using the helm upgrade process.
Critical Security & Technology Upgrades
- Upgraded to Keycloak 26.5 to enhance security.
- Upgraded to PostgreSQL 17.8 to enhance security.
Bugfixing
We’ve resolved various bugs and stability issues. Please refer to the VertiGIS Changelog for a complete list of all fixes included in this release.
