Discover the key features of this release:
Copy & Paste Assets
This release introduces the new functionality to copy and paste assets. Users can now duplicate selected assets, including annotations and associations, which is especially important for working with groups of features that belong together. This significantly improves editing workflows and reduces repetitive work during data maintenance.
Annotations
The Annotations module has been extended with support for Relation Rules for creating block annotations. It is now possible to configure which annotation sub type should automatically be used for specific Asset Groups, enabling more consistent annotation management and reducing manual editing effort.
Dimensions
Several improvements have been made to the Dimensions workflow. Users can now display and edit dimensions using different units than meters, improving flexibility for international and project-specific workflows.
In addition, dimension texts can now be configured using Prefixes, Suffixes and Arcade expressions, allowing dynamic and configurable dimension labeling.
Editing
This release offers several improvements within the different Editing modules. Both, Split and Merge, now support to split or merge lines with linked annotations, ensuring related annotations remain consistent during editing operations.
Preset Templates have been expanded with support for annotations, enabling faster and more standardized creation workflows.
For Multi-line Editing, trench creation has been improved through improved segmentation algorithms, providing more accurate and intuitive trench editing behavior.
Documents
The Documents module now provides additional configuration and validation capabilities. A new option allows document parameters to be configured directly within the Designer.
In addition, MIME-type checks are now performed for document opening, downloading, and previewing, improving security and ensuring better handling of supported document formats.
Job Management
Job Management now allows you to track different job actions. The new Job History option can log creation, assignment changes, deletion, and editing activities for jobs, providing better traceability of workflow changes.
Administrators can also decide to view or disable the Job History as required.
Additional improvements include automatic deletion of edit versions when a job is posted and automatic reassignment of the version owner when a job is reassigned to another worker.
Further improvements
This release also includes several additional enhancements and usability improvements. The Result List of Editor now provides a shortcut to directly show attachments.
Measurement-based tools now fully support feet as an imperial unit.
In addition, temporary layers can now be added directly by URL, improving flexibility for ad-hoc workflows and external data integration.
