Problem:
A new UT class has been configured. When an object of this UT class is created, the feature is placed, but the attribute form does not open.
Cause:
The configuration is not yet completely correct. However, there may be several possible causes. In most cases, the assignment of the UT class extension for the feature class used or the assignment of the ObjectAdaptioner in the configuration table UT_CUSTOM_IMPLEMENTATIONS is missing.
Solution:
UT Class extension
The feature class used must have the UT class extension and the mandatory fields OBJ_ID, ACLASS_ID and UTCLSUB_ID.
- Please check that the class extension is assigned and convert the feature class to a UT feature class if this is not the case.
- Please check whether the mandatory fields exist and create them if necessary.
Tipp: If you use "UT Features" as the type when creating the feature class, not only is the conversion to a feature class with UT class extension done automatically, but the mandatory fields are also created automatically. |
ObjectAdaptioner
The ObjectAdaptioner must be configured for the feature class used. This is done in the configuration table UT_CUSTOM_IMPLEMENTATIONS. Please check the entries in the configuration table and add any missing entries.
Further information can be found in the administration manual in the section "Parameterize ObjectAdaptioner"
Further causes
If both points have been checked, it is helpful to provide the following information for further analysis in support:
- Log file in DEBUG mode
Activate Logging for UT for ArcGIS Desktop Suite - Param-MDB for reproduction
Providing a repro case using Param MDB
