In certain situations, you may want to use the SaaS VertiGIS Studio Web Designer in combination with on-prem installations of other VertiGIS Studio products. In this case, some additional configuration is necessary to ensure successful deployment of print templates, report templates, server-side workflows, and client-side workflows that run any of these, if they were created in on-prem Designers.
The following article only applies to deployments within the same environment. For considerations when deploying across multiple Portals, please see this article instead.
This article likely applies if you see the following messages when attempting to deploy your app:
Setup
To configure this deployment scenario for success:
- Make sure all on-prem installations are registered to the same app in Portal/ArcGIS Online. If you are uncertain about this, you can check whether all the App IDs in the Post Installers match.
- Open Portal/ArcGIS Online and search for the registered app you used to configure your on-premises VertiGIS Studio products. If you are uncertain about which app you used, you can check whether its Client ID matches the App ID in the Post Installer(s).
- Click on the Settings tab of the registered app.
- In the list of Redirect URLs, add the SaaS domain you use to access VertiGIS Studio Web. For example, you might enter https://apps.vertigisstudio.com/ if you use ArcGIS Online or https://subdomain.apps.vertigisstudio.com/ if you use Portal.
- Save your changes.
Once this is done, you should be able to deploy successfully.
