ArcGIS natively supports the following simple dimensioning types:
Dimensioning types such as orthogonal, extension, chain or route dimensioning are missing here.
UT closes this gap with the UT Dim Extension.
- To ensure that the resulting data can be displayed in external systems, the software compiles them from the basic types mentioned above.
- An orthogonal dimension, for example, consists of two individual DIM features (one each for longitudinal and lateral dimension). The UTDIMGROUP_ID attribute is used by the software to ensure that such related DIM features remain recognizable and editable (e.g. when deleting).
