GEONIS → LEG Interface

Overview

The GEONIS interface to LEG enables the export of data from GEONIS according to the official LEG interface specification (Swisspower / www.leghub.ch).
The interface operates unidirectionally (GEONIS → LEG) and exports the relevant network and connection information in CSV format.

Function

Export function GEONIS → LEG

• Automated export of CSV data according to LEG specification.
• Support of relevant attributes such as address, network connection point, transformer station, substation, and X-Code.
• Export via GUI or batch mode (LegExport.exe / LegExport.bat).

Technical Requirements

GEONIS / ArcGIS

• Installation on a GEONIS or ArcGIS workstation
• Use of the ArcObjects framework → ArcGIS license required
• Fully captured medium and low voltage network
• Correct switch positions and voltage attributes
• Mandatory attributes such as type, station_type, status, name attributes

Support

• The LegExport is provided to GEONIS maintenance customers, but without support entitlement.
• Error analyses (e.g., incomplete network connection points) can be performed by VertiGIS, but are chargeable services.
• Feedback on the interface can be submitted via form.
