FireGIS

FireGIS is an easy-to-use geographic information system for fire departments. FireGIS covers the following needs:

• Operational planning (object documentation including object plans)
• Incident documentation (damage site recording, material management, plans)
• Exercise planner (with situation plan)
• geographic fire department information system (pipeline network, hazards, object information)
• automated plan output during alarm (pager)
• address trainer to improve local knowledge
• program for pressure calculation (water sourcing, transport pipeline), elevation profile creation
• creation of escape and rescue plans
• cultural heritage protection

FireGIS includes over 750 pre-made symbols and covers the common standards (Swiss Firefighters Association; FKS; DIN standards 14095, DIN ISO 23601 / DIN EN ISO 7010).

Download: FireGIS v3.4.2.3

Note on installation

1. Download the zip file to your computer.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Start “Setup.exe” and follow the instructions.
4. At the end of the setup, a dialog will appear where you can copy example AV base data (if you do not have your own AV data).
5. You can now start “FireGISStart.exe”.
6. Select the appropriate application (for operational planning, incident documentation, etc.)
