We’re thrilled to announce the release of VertiGIS Networks Editor, Explorer, and Simulator 1.12! This update brings a range of powerful enhancements – including the highly anticipated undo/redo functionality for editing, a brand-new georeferencing component, and a dedicated DXF export service.
Discover the key features of this release:
Finally here: Undo or Redo Edits in your session
One of the most requested features is now available: You can undo and redo edits within an editing session, giving you more control and flexibility while working. Easily revert or reapply changes to streamline your editing workflow.
Georeferencing
With the new Georeferencing component, you can now upload raster maps and align them spatially using control points. This allows you to accurately place scanned maps or images within your network context by referencing known locations, making it easier to integrate external data sources into your editing workflow.
DXF Export
The new DXF Export component enables users to generate DXF files directly from their network data. It leverages a dedicated web service to handle file creation, ensuring fast and reliable exports without putting load on the client. This makes it easy to share network layouts with external systems or stakeholders in a widely supported CAD format.
Multiline and Routes
You can now create routes for specific sub segments of a multiline, offering greater precision and control during route creation.
We’ve also improved the drag-and-drop behavior for creating containment hierarchies during multiline feature creation, making it more intuitive to organize related features.
User Interface
We've improved the toolbar layout of all our solutions to boost usability and streamline your workflow. For instance, we've introduced a new 'Network' section dedicated to all Utility Network-related features such as Tracing, Validate Network Topology or Subnetworks.
Attribute Form
We’ve added a new fallback option that automatically reads the pop-up configuration from the web map if no custom attribute form is defined. This ensures that users still see relevant information without needing a dedicated form setup, making configuration simpler and more flexible.
Additionally, the attribute form now offers the option to use horizontal tabs instead of collapsible sections, providing a more flexible and streamlined way to organize information.
Other News
Stay ahead with the latest advancements. The new release is fully compatible with Studio Web 5.36. Among many other improvements it gives you access to features like importing layer preset profiles from Studio Desktop and the new Drag-and-Drop experience in Web Designer.
