We are excited to announce the next version of Networks Locator (EU) packed with powerful new features, usability enhancements, and important updates. Here’s what’s new:
New Features
Role-Based Configuration Enhancements
- Multiple Config Roles per User: Users can now be assigned more than one config role. A new role switch component in the UI makes it easy to toggle between roles.
- Component Visibility by Role: Studio Web components can now be selectively hidden for specific user roles, giving you full control over user experience.
Printouts
- "Not Affected" Stamp: Clearly mark map sheets for unaffected areas. The stamp’s appearance is fully customizable via your ArcGIS Pro layout to match your project design.
- Legend Support in Layout Packages: Layout packages can now include legends, improving the clarity of printed outputs.
Orderbook Improvements
- Field Visibility Customization: Show only the fields relevant to your workflow.
-
Resend Order Linking: Order resends now retain a link to the original order via the
request_id_parent
field. - Persisted Address Selection: The selected address is now saved in the database for easier querying.
- Localization Support: Full localization is now available for fields and order states, including translations and locale-specific formatting.
Order Restrictions
- Request Area Limits: You can now configure limits on the maximum allowable request area to prevent oversized submissions.
Technology Updates
- Quarkus: Upgraded to LTS version 3.20 (from 3.15).
-
Docker Base Image Updates:
- Kong: 3.8.0 → 3.9.0
- Caddy: 2.8.4 → 2.10.0
