The VSP Engine Tools post installer shows an error message. I am not able to configure the tools using the post installer at all. What might be the problem and how can I solve it?

If you are not able to execute the MSI file or if the POST installer configuration fails, and you are not able to start the VSP Engine Tools publishing process, then the reason might be missing dependencies for running the installer.

Please also note that the installer can not be used on older Windows operating systems such as Server 2012 (Windows 8). If this is the case or the reason is unknown, please contact VertiGIS support.

If the problem is related to the post installer you might be able to use an alternative installation method such as using the Command Line Interface (CLI) as outlined in other FAQs.
