Moving GVH projects from one Geocortex siteID to other siteID within same GC cluster

I am in need of splitting up a Geocortex site installed on one cluster into several sites on the same cluser  (using the copy tool). Renaming like "site1", "site2", "site3" etc.
The new sites will then be getting new Site IDs and possibly also new viewerIDs.
Hwo can I move or make available GVH projects (HTML viewer stored projects) from one siteID to an other within the same cluster ?
Projects are as I understand, saved in Elastic search. So how can I change the projects ID's in the Elastic search database ?

  I'm not sure you will be able to get this to work, but check

  Migrating from one server to an other works as described.
  One server/cluster has one Elasticsearch datastore with all the projects stored. In this case I want to move projects between different Geocortex sites within the same server/cluster. This should be possible if you manipulate parameters in each project document. Can this be done through Geocortex rest ?
