Configuring Highlight border and fill differently
RéponduHow can I set the highlight border and fill differently? We have a few stacked datasets in our map. When queried and stacks are returned, we are left with a 100% fill highlight. In app.json, it seems we are only allowed to change the overall color and the fill/border are handled under the hood.

Hi Andrew,
Yes, you can change the color in Web Designer and the border/fill colors get created automatically; however, we currently don't offer a way to customize the border and fill independently.
Possible workaround could be to disable highlighting all together and keep only symbol and label, but to do that, you'd need to manually edit the app JSON and set the highlight or focus color to null.

Another option could be to change the transparency of the highlight color in Designer, but it will only affect the borders, not the fill opacity (it stays fixed at fill 33%). It might not do much for you.

Hi Pairin Mason,
When set the value of highlight and focus color to be null, then no color will appeared!
What I want is to make the fill color is null and the border color cyan, how could I do it?
I tried many options in the json file but it didn't work with me!
any help will be very appreciated :)
It is very easy in the GE from look and feel at the level of viewer

Best,
Lubna

Hi Lubna and Jamal,
Web generates the highlight border and fill automatically based on the color you picked in Web Designer. There isn't a way to configure them independently currently.

Any update on "There isn't a way to configure them independently currently."
What I want is to make the fill color null and select a border color, how can I do it? It appears that VertiGIS Web isn't at parity with the HTML5 viewer.

I also would like this ability. There should be an option to configure highlight fill and border colors separately.

I would also request for being able to configure highlight fill and border colors separately.
