Elevation Profile Tool: Out of-the-box configuration

Geocortex Essentials had a great, easy-to-use elevation profile tool that could be configured for the application.

Are there plans to develop a similar, out-of-the-box option for VertiGIS Studio Web? It's a well-relied on tool for our users, and its absence in VertiGIS has been a barrier to a full transition from Geocortex Essentials for our organization.
