Base Map slider - keyboard shortcut to change map

I have a configuration with multiple layers of Orthophotos from different years in a series in the Base Map Slider.

Our users complain about it being difficult to select a particulary year without activating the blending function between two maps (years). 

Would it be possible to add a keybord shortcut eg. n for next that goes to the next map in the series? Or is there already a keyboard shortcut, that I have not found?

    This is one of the many reasons the basemap slider is unusable for us. There are too many years in our slider so its impossible to get the slider to land on the year and not have a blur of imagery between 2 different datasets. There definitely needs to be the option to snap to a year and have clearer tick marks for each year like Essentials had.
