Charts without prior selection
Charts and KPI - I've never used a chart widget in any software that I can think of that required me to select rows prior to displaying a chart. The Chart and KPI controls need changed to be able to do that. If I add a 50 states layer to my map and want to show a population chart, not only do I have to identify or select all 50 states to populate it first, but there's literally just a void in the app until that happens. Unless otherwise specified, it's always the whole record set from the configured layer. Those two controls are unusable for me like they are.

Hey mate,
Hopefully, you've found a workaround for this already but you can configure a VTS workflow to run on map initialize (in the map component menu). Essentially, the workflow is as described in this tech tip ( https://vertigisstudio.com/dynamically-update-kpi-cards-in-geocortex-web/) but I just return all features and run the "kpi.display" or "charts.display" command. The lighter the workflow the better, for performance sake but it works well.
Cheers,
Nick

I totally agree with Jamie, it would be really nice if the default state of the Charts and KPI elements would be the whole record set from the configured layer.
