User control of labelling using selected attribute from layer

RELEASED: Web 5.27

Our users often need to label features on their maps using an attribute associated with the features in a layer. The attribute will vary from user to user so can't be set up in the underlying web map. Similarly some users may need to switch labelling on/off as with the toggle in the HTMLS viewer. I'm hoping that this may be part of the new Map Notes feature at the next release?

  There is a location notes feature coming in 5.15 that very likely solves your use case.

  It allows end users to put text notes on the map, and to copy text snippits from nearby feature attributes as part of that interface.
