Limit Geocoder Results to a Configured Spatial Extent

Hello, may we configure a spatial extent that a geocoder's results are limited by.  This could be by the site's full extent, the sites initial view, the users current extent, or that of a specific layer in the site.

 

This was a function that I was able to do in Geocortex Essentials and it helped a lot as we are using ESRI's world geocoder so we do not need to search in other parts of the world. Even if we have a state-level this would be too much as well.

  Yes, clicking on the wrong result can be very disorienting for casual, or less experienced, end-users.

  Yes please! This is possible in Web App Builder, so I assume it could be made possible in Web as well.

  See How To: Limit Geocoding Results to a Specific Area for WAB-config. I tried adding the ‘searchExtent’ parameter in Web, but it is automatically removed. zoomScale seems to be the only setting that actually works.
