Core Client: Enhancement for large projects with many relates
In response to customer requests, several features have been implemented that make work easier, especially in connection with relates. For example, linked objects can now be expanded automatically when using the Maptip tool. Similarly, also for search results the linked objects can initially be opened. There are also optimizations for users of the index print; after the calculation of the printing sheets, any sheets that are not required can be removed before printing. In addition, there are some further functional improvements in the Core Client: For example, SaveStateIDs can now be overwritten when updating and the thematic mapping can also be applied on preconfigured layers as well as on KML/KMZ files.
VertiGIS Printing Tools: Feature set continues to grow
As in previous releases, the functionality of VertiGIS Printing Tools grows with this WebOffice release. New additions are the support of printing in different coordinate systems and considering activated time slider constraints. Please note that ArcGIS Pro 2.9x and ArcGIS Server/Enterprise 10.9.1 are required for this feature. With the new features mentioned above and the advanced functionalities available, there are plenty of reasons to switch to VertiGIS Printing Tools if you haven't done so yet.
Background modifications
Even though it is a less prominent issue compared to log4j, a security vulnerability (CVE-2021-23450) has been closed with the update of the Dojo Toolkit to version 1.16.5. Another important news is that the ojdkbuild platform, which has been recommended by VertiGIS for several years, no longer provides OpenJDK binaries. VertiGIS now recommends the Adoptium Temurin platform as an alternative for obtaining Java installation packages.
