GEONIS Update Module does not execute formulas

Problem

Some parser functions are not executed with the GEONIS Update Module.

Cause

The problem is due to an incompatibility with ArcGIS 10.8.2.

Installations with other ArcGIS versions are not affected by this issue. The execution of formulas in GEONIS is also not affected.

Solution

The problem can be resolved by replacing the configuration file GeoDBUpdate.exe.config. The attached file must be copied and replaced in the GEONIS installation directory under C:\Program Files (x86)\Geocom\GEONIS\expert\.

If the update module is used with the command line - GeoDBUpdateCmd.exe - the same configuration can be saved as GeoDBUpdateCmd.exe.config next to GeoDBUpdateCmd.exe.
