ESRI provides the option for configuration of clustered server machines for ArcGIS Server sites for performance scaling, resiliency and maintenance reasons. Typically, such setups should not have an impact on the execution performance/throughput of prints executed on a distinct host. Since such setups are using a configured common data share as both a jobs and output directory, but the actual workspaces on the dedicated hosts (used during execution) are situated in the user's temporary directories (see engine tools log), the analysis of issues is different to analyzing a single-machine setup. If you see print execution durations much higher than with a single-machine setup, please contact VertiGIS Support for further investigation of the issue.
