Hiding and then showing a Results Table loses it's results set

Hello.  I have a workflow that allows the user to filter a layer and show the results in a Results Table.  I'd like to have a button that allows the user the turn the results table on and off so as to free up more space for the map.  I've set up buttons that run the commands ui.deactivate and ui.activate to change the visibility of the results table.  That works fine, but when the results table is reactivated, it's lost its results set.

Is there a way of hiding/showing a results table that preserves the results set it's populated with?

  Hi Chris, 

  what about enabling the maximize/minimize buttons on the surrounding panel instead of a button? Would be the easiest way.

  Alternatively, you could make use of the Popout button (screenshot below) to detach the results table and display it in a separate window. This would preserve the results and make more room for the map.
