Length of Notes activity's description

There appears to be a maximum length to the Notes activity of 1035 (?) characters. Since we often use this activity for complex workflow documentation, this is not always sufficient. 

Can the maximum length be increased, or can the limit be removed at all for this activity?

  That's a good point. I had a look and we have some general limits that apply to all activities:

  • ID: 100 characters
  • Display Name: 100 characters
  • Description: 1000 characters

  I think it'd probably be best to remove the limit entirely for the description when dealing with a Notes activity. Otherwise there's always likely to be someone who needs just a few characters more.
