Duplicating GEO Items with feature info
In CM we are able to duplicate any items but without any information.
If I have a layer in a file with 100 items with information as address or any other info, there should be a way to be able to copy the layer to my database or to duplicate from layer to layer with all information. At the moment I have to duplicate and adding the info manually which is no way to be done with large amount of features
Please look at this issue seriously should be way for importing layers or copying layers

The exact requirement is not clear. Would this layer typically be an unassigned layer, assigned layer or a SmartGeo layer?
Since layers do not have common structures it is difficult to copy a layer with its attribute columns to another layer which will usually not have equivalent columns, We would need a visual mapping configuration which generally would be complex for users to use. Likewise updating CM object attributes requires not only a similar visual mapping but also a linking column with some unique common key.
This while such a feature is useful I am not sure how easily it would be used by the bulk of users. However I will put it in our list of potential features
