Select layer for editing

Hi there, 
I have several editable layers in my map. With the Add Feature tool, however, I have to specify within the app which layer the tool accesses. Is there an easy way to add a selection option here? After the user has clicked “add feature” or "edit feature”, he should be able to select which layer he wants to edit?

  Agree with this. Geocortex presented a list of ‘editable’ layers to the user. So much easier. The newer one-to-one relationship of button to edit layer is a regression in our view -  Hence, we've used Workflow to create similar editing tools to provide more flexibility (way more) around the layers that get added to, and how the user interacts with editable layers.  If you add this to the ideas page, I'd certainly vote for it :)
