Query on registered service not working?
I created a viewer with a webmap with several services. Some of these services are not our own, but are internal services from partners which we have registered in our ESRI portal.
Using a filter on layers of registered services works as expected.
But when I try to query this layer, it does not appear in the Data Source list. Is this expected behaviour? Can I do anything to change this?

Hey Niels Gerrits I infer you are referring to the Query Builder and it's Data Source list, right?
If so, I would ask:
- is that service you are focused on in the web map used in the VSW application? From what I know, that Query Builder looks at the contents of the web map for that to populate as a data source.
- if it is indeed in the web map, are you able to browse to the service REST endpoint and check whether the query operation is enabled?

Hey Gareth, thanks for your response.
- Your are correct, this is about the Query Builder.
- The registered service is in the web map used in the VSW application.
- We are able to browse the rest endpoint with the credentials I used to register the service in Portal and I am able to query the layers in the service.
The original url is
https://xxx.nl/arcgis/rest/services/HWBP_ZwolleOlst/HWBP_ZwlleOlst_P8_export/MapServerand this is the url I can browse and query.
The registered url in Portal and which is in the webmap which is in the VSW app is
https://yyy.com/portal/sharing/servers/8cc1c80fcb174423bf0485618122ffde/rest/services/HWBP_ZwolleOlst/HWBP_ZwlleOlst_P8_export/MapServerand this url I can not browse, but I believe this is expected behaviour.
