How do I capture Add Feature Geometry and run a workflow before the Add Feature Attribute panel displays?
I click Add Features and them am prompted to sketch geometry. I double click the sketch to finish the geometry, and then the attribute panel shows along with a save button. I have two questions. First, how can I make this automatically save without having to have the user click the save button after they double click and finish the sketch? Second, how do I intercept the add-features sketch completed event prior to the panel opening? I want to intercept that geometry, pass it to a workflow, and then continue to open the Add Features attribute panel but with with pre-populated attributes from the prior workflow.

hi Jamie, this got me thinking about a thread from last year some time, that I was on also.
I had similar requirements - in intercepting the out of the box editing tool with some additional steps. In the end I found it just easier to write our own edit tools - in workflow, and that way you control every step of the editing process.
We've basically re-written the simpler OOTB Add Features tool to show geometry capture and then prompt for user input before saving anything. We define the fields for entry via forms, rather than the Details panels.
