Basemap Series - Change default starting basemap

Say I have a basemap series with imagery basemaps for years from 2000 to 2023. I want them to be ordered chronologically from left to right but I also want to have the basemap series start at 2023 by default rather than 2000. This currently isn't possible from what I can tell.

I was going to post the same request:
Basemap Slider, it would be nice if there was a way to switch the range of the year so the that the default year (the most recent year) is on the right. This is what we have currently using GeoCortex Essentials:
This is what it looks like in Web:
The most recent year is on the left, our users are used to the most recent year on the right.
