Retrieve Raw JSON from a Report to use in a python script

Is it possible to dynamically retrieve the JSON from a VertiGIS studio report to use in a python script? I've been using the standard ArcGIS REST API methods and have looked at the VertiGIS studio reporting SDK but have not been able to successfully retrieve it.
