Series basemap how to and sample
Here is a short 'how to' on getting series base maps and the basemap slider component working in VSW.
Here is my sample app: https://data.latitudegeo.com/Cam/SeriesBasemapSample.zip

Start by going to the Basemap Picker and adding a new basemap series.

Then you add series layers as desired. The names you give these are what you will see in the basemap slider component. Edit to reorder if you need to.

Add the basemap slider component anywhere in your layout.

Now in your preview you can select the new basemap and move through the imagery using the slider (which will be activated when you select your new basemap).

Thanks for the explanation! How do you change the layer titles? I'm trying to use the Info Icon on the Basemap Series, but they're all coming through like "language-designer-gen-basemap-config-1-seriestitle-91kj66" even though I've set labels for each of them. Can we only edit that through the JSON?

I'm seeing differences between the designer and dev/prod app when configuring the basemap slider.
in the image below, the app is correct but the designer is not

Is it necessary to have the photos in the portal environment or is it possible to make a connection by an url? (we have the photos on an Apolloserver).

Right and same for AGOL - do we need to have separate items in AGOL for these to be added? Is there anyway to just hit the service URL like in Essentials?
Thanks!

Aad van der Kramer , Liza Markey you can't add the URL directly to the basemap slider. you must first add it as an item in your portal (Enterprise or AGO). You can make that item in your portal point to a service URL from anywhere else, but the widget can only add items from your portal to the slider.

Great, thanks so much for confirming this for me!

Cam Barnard Is there any way to make the imagery slider window bigger? Thank you.

Perhaps you can do this with a style modification (CSS).
