Miles to Kilometers not being maintained from dev to prod
Hi there,
I'm still in the dev stage of my app, but when I view it in portal, the distance on the scale bar and in the measure tool is in miles, despite it being set to kilometers in dev.
Any help would be great.

Is the measurement system changed in the User Preferences?

Best way to test is to either:
- load the app in a new incognito window, and don't sign in (if the app can be loaded without signing in)
- load the app and sign in with a user account that has never loaded that app before
I've found the same thing Nico mentioned- it's hard to tell if the defaults configured in Web Designer are working because the User Preferences and past selections made by your user will override the defaults.
Another trick is to use File > Save As, to save a new copy of the app. Since your account has never loaded the new copy yet, it doesn't have any user preferences stored for the measurement stuff. Launch the copy app, test to see if the defaults are working, then delete the new copy if everything looks ok.
