Post Title:Add three new Lambdas (frequencies/carriers) to manage the HFC and Optical Fiber network.
Feature Request Summary:
For a complete management of the loss calculation budget in Coopelesca's existing network, it is necessary to add three additional Lambdas to ConnectMaster. This addition is essential for field comparisons in case of technical failures or reviews of new projects.
For optical fiber networks, three basic carriers are required to link existing equipment in both mixed networks (Fiber-Coaxial) and GPON networks (FTTH networks). These design calculations help identify faults due to fiber attenuation and the implementation of additional equipment for network stability.
For coaxial networks, at least 5 frequencies are required, representing the 5 pilot carriers for network adjustments and necessary equipment for Coopelesca's networks. Design values must match real levels as coaxial networks are susceptible to field variations, and minor differences can significantly affect network performance. Without design values in pilot carriers, necessary field reviews to solve faults or adjustments in network improvements cannot be conducted. This is often required as the network expands and segmentation is needed.
The following table outlines the required details:
File → Library → Components → Settings → Attenuation
Functional Area / Module:
Basic Physical Module: Attenuation loss budget functionality.
Description/Use Cases:
The Power Bugged validation aims to graph the network's attenuations from start to end, encompassing standardized losses and faults. This information should be replicated accurately and timely to field units during their reviews or maintenance.
Business impact of limitation or missing of the feature:
The requested action is essential as the Design system allows configuration, and this information must be consistent when transferred to ConnectMaster. Mismanagement of network design information for timely field implementation and subsequent maintenance is critical.
Other necessary information or resources:
