FeatureMap and base layers

I'm having trouble with FeatureMaps and reports.

You can't currently set what is used for the base map and at least one of our base maps doesn't appear in the report (arcgis tiled service from outside our business - bing works though).

So the ability to fix the base map for the feature maps would be good.
