Passing geoprocessing parameters

Is it possible to pass GP parameters from Geocortex to a GP tool? For instance I'm wanting to implement a Clip, zip and ship geoprocessing tool which requires a number of GPString Inputs (or preferably GPString selections - similar to a Display Form combobox or listbox) and the creation of a "Clip" area. I seem to get stuck as Workflow can't use a Geocortex string (VB string) as a GPString. Would it also be possible to collect geometry from Geocortex viewer and feed that into the GP tool as the "Clip" area?

  Hi Mark.

  Latitude has included a workflow that does exactly that. Look here: <GE_HOME>\Sample Sites\Resources\Workflows\CharlotteOperational. Of course yopu would need to create your own GPservice to include your own data. the conversion between geocortex and esri data types can be done inside the workflow.

  Also remember that the workflow only list the data for exsport if those data is included in both the Geocortex site and the GPservice (based on layer names).
