GE 3.6 Release Notes question
Under the "Features" section of the release notes for 3.6 it says:
? Support connections to ArcGIS Services using Windows Integrated security.
What, exactly is that referring to? My understanding is the REST environment requires token based security to connect to map services...

Could someone from Latitude please respond to the question?

Essentials will now alternatively support ArcGIS Server services that are secured with Windows Integrated security. With Windows Integrated security the Windows credentials of the “user” making the request to ArcGIS Server will be used for authentication/authorization. The “user” will be either the end user running the Silverlight Viewer, the Essentials user that is running the REST web application, or the EssentialsAdmin user that is running the REST Manager web application. All three will need to have access.

Thanks Ryan. I installed an instance of 3.6 and tried connecting to an ArcGIS Map Service that is secured with Windows Security but I get the same error message received with previous versions of GE, hence the original question.
I've looked for info in the 3.6 admin guide, but I'm not finding anything on alternate settings for Windows Security. At this point I'm simply trying to establish a connection to a Windows secured ArcGIS map service in Essentials Manager. How would I set up GE 3.6 to alternatively use map services secured with Windows Integrated Security?
