"Zoom to" but not add the features to the selection set

Hi All,

I'm creating an parcel search workflow, I've created a cascading drop down lists to get user inputs.

I'd like to zoom to the parcels and show the results show in the results panel...but I do not want the results "selected"

I created (QueryTask--> GetFeatureExtent ---> SetMap Extent) 

How do I display the results in the results panel without selecting the features?

  If you use the identify tools, you can pick the features but they are not added to the selection set.   The results are shown in the results panel but feature feature is not "starred"
