How to reference already-selected features in a new workflow

Anyone have a suggestion for this?

An example - The user creates a Selection of parcels through a variety of methods that are available with the standard viewer tools (like selecting features that resulted from multiple buffer identifies).  After all features are selected (not highlighted), the user then wants to click a button (workflow) that will pull only owner or non-owner occupied parcels and creates an excel spreadsheet (which I have already done for a workflow where the user selects parcels through the workflow).

But I need the option to use already selected parcels that have been selected through other standard tools.

How do I access the the selected features in the viewer to run through a workflow?

    Thanks,

    Carmen

You may find the functionality that you are looking for through the Code Gallery sample located (https://support.geocortex.com/helper-activities-for-working-with-result-sets-in-the-silverlight-viewer) here.  The original sample was built for version 1.5 of the Silverlight Viewer, but we've recompiled the code to work with version 1.9 of the Silverlight Viewer. Deployment packages for both versions are available.

Note that the Visual Studio code that is available has not changed, but can be downloaded and recompiled to work with any version of the Silverlight Viewer.

Thanks Victoria.  I have downloaded the suggested files but waiting to hear a response to:

    https://support.geocortex.com/SupportForums/Thread.aspx?pageid=0&mid=2&ItemID=20&thread=52426

to see if I will need to use it.  If I cannot get the two workflows to run at the same time, then I have no choice but to try the Sample.

One question - has anyone tested the sample with the new SLV 1.10 that will be released soon?  We HAVE to upgrade to 1.10 and GE 3.14 (or was it 3.15) when released to fix the printing a .pdf with cached services issue.

    Thanks,

    Carmen
