Hi folks,

The beta HTML5 viewer seems to completely ignore layer themes - is this something that will be fixed in the 1.0 release?

  Layer themes will not be available in 1.0, but are currently being planned for a subsequent version.

  It's something that's on the roadmap for this year, but I can't give any concrete timelines.

  Just wanted to bump this, as I'm currently working on a project where this would come in very handy.  Unless I missed it, it's still not present at 1.3.1.  Can Latitude give any ETA?  If not, any suggested workflow activities to start working around it?

  It is still not present in GVH2.0 and GVH2.1.

  However, the code for it is present in the Mapping.js but is not complete. The layerthemes switcher view is already present.   The javascript "viewer.site" object still does not contain the layerthemes information in the "map" sections.

  Our project wants it too, so is there any sign it will be ready in GVH2.2 (end of april 2014) ?

  When the basemap switcher was implemented, some preliminary work was done for switching layer themes, as well, as the hope at the time was that the feature would follow shortly after. We've had to prioritize some other features ahead of it in the meantime, but it's still very much on the short list of things we want to put into the HTML5 Viewer this year. It won't be done in time for version 2.2, however.

  So there is NO support for themes in HTML5?

  I tried implementing a simple workflow that controls the theme, but that doesn't seem to work in HTML5 either. I was pretty let down when I found out I couldn't even create a workaround in workflow!

  Is there a basemap switcher and layer theme switcher drop down in HTML5 2.5.2 on the right-hand side of the map like in GVS?  I see the themes dropdown in the layer list, but I have nothing on the right-hand side of the map.  I'm trying to figure out if I need to configure it, or if it doesn't exist yet. Thanks!
