Task URL for search table

I want to populate a combo box with the contents of a search table, but I'm having trouble getting it to work. I've gotten a combo box to display data that comes from a table that supports a map layer, and in this case getting the task URL was critical in getting the combo box to work. I'm not sure how to determine what the task URL is for a combo box that gets data from a search table. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
