CSV uploading and labelling/info

A lot of our users are now uploading csv files to display points on the map.

Points on maps without labels aren't too useful.  Is it possible to ID them or at least use an info or maptip on them?  

I realise it's client side, but I think you need to be able id the graphics?

Anyone else agree?
