Example of WebRequest activity

Does anyone have an example of a working WebRequest activity to share?  I could use some help setting up the headers and parameters properly.  Also, ideally I would like to take the json response from the WebRequest and parse the data to push to a DataTable to add to a DataSet to use for a TemplateReport activity.  Any json tools in workflow I could leverage?
