Site Backups
In the GE documentation it states that " When you enable site backups in Manager, every time a site is saved, a backup of the original site is created with a timestamp "... after your edit the Manager web.config file to alter the number of backups from zero (default) to whatever (i.e. 3): <add key="NumberOfSiteBackupFiles" value="3" />
Upon editing the web.config file, and altering/saving one of my sites, I cannot find the resultant backup file. Is there something else I need to do to get this to work? Where does it get stored?
Also, when a backup file is eventually created, how do I load it? Is there a button in the manager, or do I simply replace the current "site.xml" file with the backed-up one?

Hi Mike,
The backup configuration files should be present alongside the site.xml. I tried this here as well and it looks like it is no longer working. I've filed a bug, and hopefully a developer will be able to take a look at it soon.

In version 4.5.1 the backup of the site.xml seems to be working.
This option 'NumberOfSiteBackupFiles' only backup the SIte.xml?
Is there anyway to backup the viewers as well?
