Symbology Problems
I made a Geocortex site that has a dynamic Arcgis map service and a cached background Ortho photo, and created a silverlight viewer for it. I noticed that there is always a light colored pixels around app point symbols wand labels while the lines draw properly. Does anyone know how to get rid of the light pixels around the symbol?

Hi Walid
I believe this comes down to the AntiAliasing that you have configured (or accepted the defaults for). There is Force, None and another option that I can't remember off the top of my head. Check out the ArcMap help for further insights.
Thanks

I can also be caused by your symbol itself if you using a bitmap marker symbol. Another way I have seen this happen as well is when you are outputing png8 images.

Hi Walid,
I had this exact problem happen to me yesterday with labels. The image format was set to Png8 in Display Settings for that map service. As soon as I changed it to Png32 all the labels displayed correctly.
In GE Manager > Map >Click Edit for the particuler map service > Display Settings Tab > Image Format
