Named Extent, Initial Extent, Full Extent: Browser Hangs
I'm unable to add a new named extent or to edit the full extent or the initial extent of the map. The browser hangs. This happens in IE, Firefox and Chrome.
The error message is:
Line 17, Char 12145, Could not complete the operation due to error 80020101, Code 0.
I'm using Geocortex Essentials 3.10 running on Windows Server 2003 64 bit.
This happens on two different sites that use different map services.

I'm having similar problem on Essentials 3.10, Win Server 2008 R2 64 bit. I also have windows security and SSL enabled.
BTW, you can manually edit the InitialExtents parameter in the site.xml file. The first number is the lower left, the second is the upper right. But this is workaround, not a solution.

It was an internet connection security issue. The browser was unable to reach the ArcGISOnline servers to do its processing in Geocortex Essentials. If your browser is locked down in high security mode, then the solution is to add the following sites to the trusted zones for the browser.
The external servers that Geocortex Essentials Manager needs to access in order to run are:

Only internet explorer uses zones for security. Is there a solution for Firefox and Chrome?
