site.xml configuration will not update (GE version 3.8)

Hi there,

I'm struggling with the "Include in Layer List" setting in GE Manager 3.8. I'm trying to make a sublayer in a WMS service visible, but the setting is not being saved. I have tried editing the site.xml directly, and even though the "Include in Layer List" setting is set to "true", when I open GE Manager the "Include in Layer List" setting is toggled off again?? I've tried restarting IIS, GeoCortex Agent services and clearing browser cache but nothing seems to work? When I choose to make a different sublayer in the same WMS service visible, the configuration is saved and everything works as intented...please help!
