Zoom to selected features
I have a simple workflow that is exposed through the "I want to" menu in the HTML5 1.1 viewer. The workflow runs a query task against a point layer, and the returned feature set is selected with a select features activity. In the end, a report with a map and some attribute information is generated based on the selected feature. This all works :-)
So, the problem is that i would like the map to be zoomed in on the selected feature before the report is generated. I think I have tried "everything" to make that work, but without success. I have tried "Get Feature Set Extent" -> "Set Map Extent" and I have tried to run several external commands such as ZoomToFeature, ZoomToExtent and ZoomToEsriFeatureSet
Has anyone managed to do this in the HTML-viewer? How?
The ZoomToFeature takes a featureSet as input parameter. Since nothing happens, I have started to wonder if the variable I send as parameter to the command refers to an empty object. What is the best way to list out the content of a variable that is declared and used in a workflow?

I exactly encountered same issue with GVH 2.5. Nothing happens over the map.
Were you able to resolve the issue? I m starter to GE and may be missing out something really silly. Would appreciate your guidance.

If you're working with point data, then zoom to feature doesn't work very well. My workaround is to buffer the selected point/s by a small distance (500 ft or so) and then zoom to the polygon buffer instead. 0
