Include map in a template report.

I have a workflow that works well to add rows from a recordset that is returned from a geoprocessing service to a template report.

What I'd like to do, is include a map with the report at the extent of the user defined geometry (I may modify it to zoom out a bit). Since I have the geometry, I just need to get the map. Does anybody know how I would get the map into a sub report of my template report in the workflow? Is the map an object I could add to a dataset, used in the sub report?
